NJN documentary explores the Raritan River

On Tuesday, NJN will premiere “Rescuing a River: The Raritan,” at the Forum Theatre in Metuchen. The film looks at the efforts of environmentalist activists, particularly the Edison Wetlands Association, to preserve and protect the longest river solely in New Jersey.
On Wednesday, The Sustainable River Collaborative will gather for its 3rd annual Raritan River Conference at Rutgers University.
Dozens of environmental organizations, businesses, foundations and academic institutions will attend the "Economy, Ecology and the Future of the Raritan River Region" conference.
